Your procedure pages are the most important pages on your plastic surgery clinic’s website. They’re where potential patients land when they’re actively searching for a specific treatment, and they’re where most of your conversions will happen.
Get the title and meta description right
Your page title should include the procedure name and ideally the location. Something like “Rhinoplasty in Manchester” is clear, searchable, and tells Google exactly what the page is about. Your meta description should expand on that with a compelling reason to click through.
Write for patients, not surgeons
It’s tempting to lean into clinical language, but your patients aren’t searching for “augmentation mammoplasty.” They’re searching for “breast enlargement.” Use the terms your patients actually use, and explain medical terminology in plain language where you need to include it.
Cover the full picture
A good procedure page answers every question a patient might have. What the procedure involves, who it’s suitable for, what to expect during recovery, how long results last, and what the risks are. The more thoroughly you cover the topic, the more useful the page is to both patients and Google.
Use before and after photos
Real results build trust. Include a gallery of before and after images with appropriate patient consent. These also keep visitors on the page longer, which is a positive engagement signal for search engines.
Add FAQ content
Think about the questions patients ask during consultations and add them to the page. “How long does recovery take?” “Will there be visible scarring?” “How much does it cost?” These questions are often the exact phrases people type into Google.
Include a clear next step
Every procedure page should end with a clear, specific call to action. Not “contact us” but something like “book a free consultation to discuss your options.”
